Nixie is a creator of happy moments. It was built in 1972 and is very easy to navigate.
Its width makes it very comfortable and the roof hatch that opens fully lets in the sunshine. Windows all along the side of the boat make it light and airy in the summer, and they seal shut easily to stay warm with the central heating throughout the boat in the winter. The bedroom is very comfortable, the view from the bed is lovely, and the fully equipped kitchen is very easy to use with views all around. The living room has a sofa bed that can house guests. There is a shower room and a compost toilet that could also be reconverted back as it was lived in a marina for 30 years before going out onto the canals.
The solar panels make sure it is energy efficient and all installed with useful storage boxes underneath. It has had a revamp, including brand new Sterling 230V pro power quasi sine inverter 1900W, Europump II automatic bilge pump, Epever High frequency 80A MPPT solar charge controller, new sterling pro batteries, new Sterling pro reg B alternator regulator, new cables, terminals, fuses, fixings. Also new Webasto kit TT Evo GRP for the heating system, and a new oven Thetford midi prima 7200 stainless steel.
Nixie (translates to "Little Water Spirit") is ready to go for this season and viewing is highly recommended.
