This 1970 Storebro Royal Cruiser 34 is a true Gentleman’s Cruiser, she has been lovingly cared for over the years, restored and maintained for optimum appeal and functionality.
This year, the entire deck was completely re-caulked and the bright work taken right back to its original state and painstakingly re-varnished. She has been on voyages across the channel and into the canals of France and we have had many enjoyable days relaxing on her in some of Dorset’s finest coves.
Engine, Mechanical and Electrical Information
The Diesel engines are like new, they were replaced in 1998, with only 850 hours, and they need to be seen to be appreciated!
There are 2 x Volvo TAMD 41, 200hp diesel engines, 2 four bladed 17 x 21” balanced propellers, has new engine mounts fuel lines and stopcocks, new gear couplings with shaft, deep water sternglands, trim tabs, electric windlass and bow thruster. She has 2 custom long range stainless steel fuel tanks, 600 litres each engine with site gauges and the water tank holds 250L. There are 3 batteries, 1 recently replaced this year, 2 replaced 2016 and 240v shore power. On board the galley is a small fridge, microwave, gas stove top and oven, 2 gas cylinders, fire blankets and fire extinguishers, replaced within the last year.
There are 3 electric and 1 manual bilge pumps, automatic fire extinguishers, life raft (new, Dec 2017), foghorn, radar reflectors, flares (new 2017), tender (new 2017), and anchor with electric windlass deck controls.
We purchased Ouma II in October 2017, the survey was done and is available from us if required by the new buyer. She was taken out of the water in February 2018 for antifoul and new anodes. The photos were taken at this time and there was no evidence of any problems during inspection. There are obvious signs of her age on the boat, which you would expect, we are only the 4th owners of the boat and have taken great pride in giving her plenty more
