'Aries' is a nice example of these well-built, spacious 31ft flybridge boats. It is a shaft driven model built in 1987, powered by twin diesel Volvo Penta TAMD41A 200hp engines, with a top speed of around 25 knots and cruises at 18-20 knots. It has been well maintained and is well fitted throughout, providing comfortable 4 berth accommodation.

ACCOMMODATION
This particular model has the large forward cabin that has a double island bed with under bed storage, two wardrobes, cupboard, shelving, along with en-suite access to the heads. A second double bed can be made up from the sofa bed in the saloon. The heads are a good size, with a recently fitted electric flush toilet, vanity unit with sink and cupboard below, raised storage cupboard and shower with folding shower screen. A second door provides access from the saloon/galley. The galley has wooden flooring with storage beneath and is fitted with a gas oven/grill and two burner hob, 12/230v fridge, 1 1/2 bowl stainless steel sinks and plenty of cupboard and shelf storage. The saloon is light and airy with large windows all around, there are opening windows to port and starboard. It is well furnished with a double sofa bed, bar stool seating, a large sideboard and raised cupboards. Both the carpet and headlining were recently renewed. The internal helm is located to port and has a fully adjustable helm seat that provides good visibility. Diesel heating is provided by an Eberspacher system, with outlets in all internal rooms. Access to the engines is in the saloon via large floor hatches, the sofa bed is hinged and easily lifts up out of the way for access to the starboard engine. From the saloon the aft cockpit is accessed via large aluminium sliding doors. There is a good sized seating area with storage beneath, including the gas locker, and plenty of space for a table. The cockpit also has access to the large lazarette and to the battery/engine switch locker. The cockpit and flybridge covers were replaced in 2022. A ladder provides access to the flybridge, which has an L shaped bench seat and a reversible double helm seat, with good height railings all around. Also accessed from the cockpit is a large bathing platform, with swim ladder, transom shower and snap davits for dinghy storage, the dinghy is also included. Access to the bow is via teak steps from the cockpit, with wide gunwales on either side with stainless steel railing/guard-wire and grab rails leading to a large foredeck. NAVIGATION
Along with the usual engine instrumentation, the helm is equipped with Raymarine C120 Chartplotter and Raymarine ST6000 Autohelm, DSC VHF Radio with repeater on flybridge, Exhaust Temperature Monitor with secondary alarm on flybridge, and controls for bow thruster, trim tabs, windlass, etc. There is also a Velex marine stereo with speakers in the saloon, cabin, cockpit and flybridge.
The flybridge helm has a repeat of the lower helms engine controls and dials, along with a Raymarine C120 Chartplotter, Raymarine Autohelm, and controls for the bow thruster, windlass, trim tabs, etc. At the bow is an electric windlass with deck controls (also operates from both helms).

The anchor and 50m of galvanised chain were new in 2021. The exterior, while having a few scrapes and other signs of age, is in good overall condition and benefits from a recent full polish and wax. The boat was lifted out in May 2024 for annual maintenance, works included new antifouling, new anodes, props/rudders polished.
